FRAUD                                                                          1st June 98
Various executives at the Château Giscours are accused of fraudulent act in connection with a blending of their La Sirene de Giscours. Milk,
water, sulphur and sugar was used and it is said that even other blends has been made. What we would like to know is,- what about Giscours itself,- this former success-Château with its grand artificial lake which was made in order to prevent cold breezes, is now catching a cold,- so to say.

Ch. Cheval Blanc sold??                                                                        9th October 98
Rumours has it, that due to the unfortunate taxations imposed on successors in terms of heritage, the Château Cheval Blanc is not only for sale,- in order to prevent future taxations,- a potential buyer and the family are finalizing the second "takeover" 9 years after the former change.
