A medium-sized cellar with space enough to hold more than 250 bottles within the "stone-rack" itself , is an expensive, but far better solution than in case made of wood. However, if you are the "do-it-yourself"-type the costs of the material  in relation to the  advantages of the rack, gives you the best cost/benefit.
